BREAKING NEWS: Vice-President Escapes Aircraft Mishap in Nakonde
Nakonde, Zambia – Vice-President Mutale Nalumango is safe and in good health after being involved in an aircraft incident during take-off in Nakonde District on Thursday morning.
According to Secretary to the Cabinet Patrick Kangwa, the Vice-President and all crew members were taken to Nakonde District Hospital for precautionary medical examinations. They have since been discharged after being assessed.
Mr. Kangwa confirmed that Mrs. Nalumango did not sustain any serious injuries and is in good health.
He added that the relevant authorities have launched an investigation to establish the cause and circumstances surrounding the aircraft incident.
