Malmesbury Mass Shooting Leaves Two Dead, Eight Injured
MALMESBURY, Western Cape – Two people were killed and eight others injured in a mass shooting in Wesbank, Malmesbury, near Cape Town, on Sunday morning.
Emergency services confirmed that two victims died at the scene, while the remaining eight were rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment. Among the injured is a one-year-old child who was reportedly shot in the face.
Police have launched an investigation into the shooting. The motive for the attack remains unknown, and no arrests have been announced.
