🚨 Gauteng police seize counterfeit and illicit goods
Police have seized 1,368 counterfeit and illicit items worth an estimated R145,590 during operations in Edenvale and Benoni.
In Edenvale, officers confiscated 1,337 items, including counterfeit consumables, clothing, toys, cellphone accessories, poison, honey and pharmaceutical products.
In Benoni, a further 31 counterfeit wheelbarrows valued at R39,000 were seized from a shop.
No arrests were made. SAPS says a Section 9 notice will be served in connection with the seized goods.
