Two Suspects Arrested in Soweto After Alleged Discovery of Human Organs at Naledi Property
Police in Johannesburg arrested two people in Naledi, Soweto, after allegedly discovering containers with what appeared to be human organs at a property.
The incident began after officers responded to information about a vehicle being stripped. They found a white Volkswagen Caddy that was later identified as belonging to the National Department of Health and reported as hijacked.
A search of the property reportedly led to the discovery of two buckets containing what police described as human hearts and lungs. The suspects remain in custody while investigators and forensic specialists work to confirm the findings and determine how the organs came to be at the property.
Authorities have not yet confirmed whether the organs were connected to any patients, medical records, or transplant procedures. The investigation is continuing.
