Two Unregistered Security Guards Shot Dead in Johannesburg CBD
Johannesburg, South Africa – Two unregistered security guards were shot and killed at the corner of Bree and Klein Streets in the Johannesburg CBD on Friday.
The victims, believed to be foreign nationals, were reportedly employed as shop security guards when they were fatally shot by an unidentified suspect.
According to preliminary information, the gunman fled the scene on foot immediately after the shooting.
Police and emergency services responded to the incident and cordoned off the area while investigators began processing the crime scene.
The motive for the attack remains unknown, and authorities have launched a murder investigation. No arrests have been made at this stage.
