Boy:
“I Recorded It to Protect Myself,” Limpopo Boy Says
World dancing sensation Limpopo Boy has explained why he recorded his intimate encounter with Matshidiso Matilda, saying he did so because he feared possible blackmail or demands for money.
Speaking on Podcast and Chill, hosted by MacG, Sol Penduka and Ghost Lady, Limpopo Boy said he had previously experienced a situation where a woman allegedly demanded R50,000 from him after they had been intimate.
“I had a similar experience before, where a woman allegedly demanded R50,000 from me after we had a good time,” he reportedly said.
According to Limpopo Boy, that previous experience made him wary of finding himself in a similar situation again. He therefore decided to record the encounter, claiming that the recording was intended to protect him against potential blackmail.
He also said he did not know that Matshidiso Matilda was married at the time of their encounter. Limpopo Boy argued that he does not believe it is his responsibility to establish the marital status of every woman he meets.
The dancer further addressed details surrounding the viral video clip, claiming that the Vaseline seen in the footage does not belong to him.
His comments come amid ongoing public discussion surrounding the recording and the circumstances under which it was made. The allegations and explanations remain claims made by Limpopo Boy and should not be treated as independently verified facts.
