Bail Application for Gagash and Charlotte Tibana Postponed
POLOKWANE – The bail application of Peter Nonyane, popularly known as Gagash, and Charlotte Tibana has been postponed to Tuesday, 1 September 2026, at the Polokwane Magistrates’ Court.
The postponement followed discussions regarding the availability of legal representatives and the continuation of the State’s witness testimony.
The court was informed that one of the defence lawyers will be attending another matter at the High Court in Johannesburg from Monday. The State also indicated that it still intends to call additional witnesses.
Following the discussions, the court confirmed that the matter will resume on Tuesday, 1 September 2026.
Gagash and Charlotte will remain in custody until their next court appearance.
