Man, 47, Allegedly Burns Mother’s Home After Argument With Girlfriend in Oakford
A 47-year-old man allegedly fled the scene after setting his mother’s container home alight following an argument with his girlfriend in Oakford, KwaZulu-Natal.
According to Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA), the man’s 66-year-old mother said her son had been drinking before he argued with his girlfriend. She alleged that he then set the container home on fire and fled.
The house was completely engulfed in flames. Residents attempted to extinguish the blaze using water from a nearby JoJo tank, but their efforts were unsuccessful.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
