JOHANNESBURG – St Paul Hagiazo has received widespread praise from many members of the Vatsonga Machangani community for his leadership during the recent peaceful march against tribal discrimination. As one of the movement’s leading figures, Hagiazo helped mobilise supporters and encouraged participants to conduct themselves peacefully throughout the demonstration.
The march brought together Tsonga-speaking South Africans who say they want greater recognition of their constitutional rights and an end to tribal discrimination and the mistaken identification of Tsonga-speaking citizens as foreign nationals.
